There were so many amazing quilts at the Houston International Quilt Festival this (and every) year. This one just happened to make a special impression on me, touching on wonderful memories.
The attention to detail was mind boggling!

I LOVE this quilt, such skill and attention to detail...! I just found out via FB that a friend from my past is/was at the Houston quilt show-- I am so jealous! But very happy to look at any and all pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing, I think it would have gotten my vote as well! Love the Wizard of Oz, but this is simply to die for.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous trip down the yellow brick road. I can see why it swooped you up and carried you away. It is amazing, and how terrific for your to attend the show. Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteOh, how beautiful! What a wonderful piece of art! Makes me think about some of my other favorite movies - Gone With The Wind, Sound of Music . . . ah, but I don't quilt!
